About this vintage design furniture

This table was designed by Floris Fideldij and manufactured in the Netherlands by Artimeta in 1955. It features a painted aluminum shade with decorative perforations and a metal base. The lamp can be adjusted and it is in a good vintage condition. Diameter 12 cm.

Floris H. Fiedeldij was a Dutch designer who was born on January 29, 1921 in Amsterdam and died on September 3, 2004 in Baarn, Netherlands. He is best known for his work in product design and graphic motifs, notably for the Royal Tichelaar Makkum brand of ceramics.
