About this vintage design furniture

Brass desk lamp designed by Eileen Gray for the French manufacturer Jumo in 1935, with adjustable arm and black lacquered metal and brass shade. Bayonet bulbs with two lights. The switch is located on the base. The double arm can be tilted forwards and backwards and the reflector screen can be rotated with its own axis. Eileen Gray is one of the most influential women in 20th century design. Today, her work is one of the most sought-after on the market and is collected by major institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Museum of Ireland. Yves Saint Laurent has been one of his most remarkable private collectors. 40 x 44 x 16 cm Conditions: excellent, suitable for age and use. Perfect functioning.
