About this vintage design furniture

A perfectly coloured pocal shaped art glass, designed by Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi, Finland. These glasses were produced from 1968 to 1971 and feature a great combination of green, blue, red and light colour. Sold individually. Signed by Kaj Franck. Perfect original condition. Measures each glass : 15-16 cmH x ca 10cmD. Base in dia: 8 cm Sold in parts. 6 pieces in total. Kaj Franck (1911-1987) was born in Viborg, Finland, into a middle-class family with German-Finnish-Swedish roots. Kaj Franck is often described as the conscience of Finnish design. The appeal we feel for his designs goes beyond pure aesthetics. Kaj Franck came to the Nuutajärvi glassworks in 1951.
