About this vintage design furniture
Semi was designed in 1968 as the product of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp that had sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted to the competition at the School of Architecture and won the first prize. In the 1980s, the lamp achieved great success and became the best-selling Danish design at the time and achieved worldwide recognition and icon status. The lamp has not been used, but there are barely visible traces on the paintwork in some places. It has a long original cable and a headliner. Dimensions: diameter: 60cm height: 25cm Please note that the things we sell are used, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
