Stunning matching set of six high backed, including two carvers, Danish teak dining chairs very much in the style of Preben-Schou. Each fitted on round tapering legs. Outstanding original condition and upholstered in period weaved fabric in a warm red. Each chair is structurally solid with no loose joints or wobbles. Typical Danish design quality - the design having a curved back for pure comfort and style. About the designer
Benny LINDEN
Benny Linden was an American furniture designer born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1929. After immigrating to the United States in 1947, he studied architecture and design at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then worked for several furniture manufacturers before founding his own company, Benny Linden Design Corporation, in 1967.
