About this vintage design furniture
Boomerang rocking chair iconic model, designed by Holger Georg Jensen in the 50s for the label Tønder Møbelværk. Beechwood structure, clean lines and light reflecting good taste possessed Scandinavian design of the time. Entirely upholstered seat and backrest; mentioned of ’’secret’’ that support it, hidden under the upholstery with a concrete counterweight that allows the roll has a shorter and compact depth. Completely restored.

Georg JENSEN
Georg Jensen was a Danish designer known for his work in the field of gold and silverware. Born in 1866 in Raadvad, a small town north of Copenhagen, he began his career as an apprentice jeweler with a local silversmith at the age of 14.
