About this vintage design furniture

Very nice bronze crafted coffee table by Jacques Duval Brasseur, France 1970. This table in the shape of a scorpion, was made of green patinated bronze, is extremely heavy and has a thick hardened glass top. Super decorative table, a bit scary maybe but still, a spectacular example from Brasseur.

About the designer

Jacques DUVAL-BRASSEUR

Jacques Duval-Brasseur was a French sculptor born in 1924 in Neuilly-sur-Seine and died in 2021 in Paris. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career as an industrial designer for companies such as Air France and Renault.
