About this vintage design furniture
Chair 'Federdreh' from the 1940s. In 1926, Albert Stoll invented the 'Federdreh' (spring rotation), the first swivel chair with spring suspension, and patented it. This differs from the original model and is a later realisation. The chair rotates but is not adjustable in height. The wood is very patinated and has taken on lovely grey tones. Many signs of oxidation on the metal parts. The right slat of the seat is wobbly. Those of the backrest are slightly disjointed. Seat height: 49 cm.
