About this vintage design furniture
The ‘jansky’ chair has been designed in 1986-1988 by Borek Sipek, as usual with all his remarkable designs with design in front of functionality. Rare to find in black ash wood and dark puple metal framing this unique set of two manufactured by the italian Driade Spa company are early edition chairs. Good condition consistent with age and use.

About the designer
Borek SIPEK
Borek Sipek (1949-2016) was an internationally renowned Czech designer, known for his furniture, glassware, lighting and decorative objects. He studied architecture in Prague before working with the famous Italian designer Ettore Sottsass in Milan in the 1980s.
