About this vintage design furniture
A ’Shogun’ floor lamp designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta in 1986 for Artemide. Two perforated shades let you control the distribution of the light and prevent blinding by the light. The metal shaft is lacquered in white with black stripes. The black foot is made of cast steel. In pre-modern Japan, the shogun was Japan’s supreme military leader. The design refers to the traditional outfit of a Shogun.
