About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful, very comfortable lounge chair from Switzerland. Designed by André Vandenbeuck, this chair is named the “King Chair” and does it’s name justice It has a very comfortable, slightly backwards leaning seat. The comfortable cognac leather cushions, chrome plated metal cross base and wooden panels to the armrests all add to the impressive appearance of this chair. It remains in fair vintage condition, is well used which adds nicely to the vintage patina. Seating height 40cm.

André Vandenbeuck was a Belgian designer born on February 6, 1922 in Ixelles and died on February 4, 2014 in De Haan. He is best known for his work as an automotive designer for the French Facel Vega brand in the 1950s and 1960s.
