About this vintage design furniture
Chandelier produced by Artemide on a project by Michele de Lucchi in 2003. Plastic rosette. Metal body, thermoplastic stem and spherical blown glass diffuser. The spherical diffuser design is enhanced by the presence of a bright stem, which is the gentle transition from the intense light of the diffuser to the shaded area of the lamp structure. Good general condition, some signs of normal use over time. Dimensions: Diameter 25 cm - Maximum height 200 cm

About the designer
Michel DE LUCCHI
Michel de Lucchi is an Italian designer born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy. He studied architecture at the University of Florence and began his career as an assistant to the architect and designer Ettore Sottsass. In 1981, he co-founded the Memphis design group, which played an important role in the postmodern movement.
