Vintage Lounge armchair Madsen & Schubell

Outstanding lounge chair designed by Arnold Madsen produced by Henry Schubell. The partnership of Madsen & Schubell resulted in some very expressive and beautifully organic designs that stood out for taking a different design path during the Danish Modern period. These designs are now very coveted today. This particular chair is a rarely seen model. Featuring a stained beech frame which has just been re-polished and sympathetically reupholstered with a green tweed from Bute fabrics. An incredibly comfortable chair which is also an absolute joy to look at from any chosen angle.
