About this vintage design furniture
60s chandelier designed by Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner made in Germany. Made of plexiglass and chromed metal. Plastic elements shaped in the imitation of icicles create an amazing structure and play of light. A bulb with a large E27 thread is required. The lamp is in very good condition, new installation is not original. dimensions: height 88 cm lampshade diameter 32 cm Dimensions in inches: height 34.65 in lampshade diameter 12.6 in

About the designer
Alois Ferdinand GANGKOFNER
Alois Ferdinand Gangkofner (1920-2003) was a German designer and master glassmaker. Born in Bavaria, Gangkofner studied at the Zwiesel glass school and then worked as an assistant in several glass studios in Germany. In 1949, he became artistic director of the glass company Peill & Putzler in Düren, where he created many modern and innovative glass pieces.
