About this vintage design furniture
This mid-century sofa-bench was designed around 1956 by the German designer Hartmut Lohmeyer, produced by Wilkhahn during 10 years only . This three-seat sofa is sensuous and organically shaped in solid teak wood with a backrest Peddigrohrgefelcht. It has a slightly tilted back and is executed with tapered legs. The softly bent armrests and open frame create a very calming, inviting space. Still has its original wool fabric upholstery which remains in a good condition, has been cleaned but has some minor stains. Also the inside foam is still good. The wooden frame is perfect with a nice patina. The cane is in a good condition.
