About this vintage design furniture
Table lamp model "Burgondia", designed by Holm Sørensen in 1955 for Soppo, Denmark. In polychrome ceramic with black background and abstract decoration in blue, yellow and white enamel. Signed with the artist's monogram and "Soholm Bornholm, 1959".

About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
