Vintage Lamp Springfontein Fontaine Jaillissante By Bertrand Balas 1970

Aluminium lacquered in Havana brown. Very good condition. The French architect Bertrand Balas designed the Springfontein (also known as Fountain) for Raak in the early 70s. Raak manufactured two sizes: one has a diameter of 18cm and the other 35cm. This pendant is the larger version. Its delicate silhouette suits well above a bar or reception desk, but can also brighten up your living and dining room in an elegant way. The lamp is ideally installed on a high ceiling. Light swirls up into the fountain neck and is highly concentrated downwards at the same time.
