About this vintage design furniture
Vintage barstools "Jamaica" designed by Pepe Cortes in 1993 and produced by Knoll during the 90s in Spain. It features a chrome plated five-legged tubular steel frame. Solid varnished beech seat. Swivel seat. The beech seat is a rare version compared to the aluminium version. Sitting height is 78 cm.

About the designer
CORTES
Pepe Cortés was a Spanish designer who was born in Barcelona in 1946 and died in 2019. He studied at the Barcelona School of Arts and Crafts and began his career as an industrial designer in the 1970s. He founded his own design studio in 1984, where he worked on a variety of interior design, furniture and lighting projects for clients around the world.
