About this vintage design furniture
This dining table is designed by Alfred Christensen and manufactured by Slagelse in Denmark in 1963. It is in teak with inlay in rosewood in the middle of the table top. The table has beautiful drawings in the wood and is refined in every detail. The shape makes it a special piece. The table is extendable on both sides. The extensions are stored in the table. There is a label from the manufacturer. This table is original and in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments. We also have the matching set of 6 dining chairs available. dimensions: height: 72 cm length: 150 cm (+ 2 extensions of 50 cm) maximum length: 250 cm width: 88,5 - 90,5 cm

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
