About this vintage design furniture
The doublet is a sofa bed designed in the 50s by Rob Parry for Gelderland (The Netherlands). This simple and sleek design is still popular. This sofa has been professionally restored, filled with new foam and re-upholstered with a beautiful mottled green woollen fabric named Richwool. The metal frame is professionally powder coated. With a simple hand movement, the seat rolls out from under the backrest. This creates a single bed with the dimensions of 70 x 188 cm. The seating height is 39 cm.
