Danish Copper ceiling lamp designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for Holm Sørensen & Co 1960s Denmark. This lamp gives a sculptural light effect with lovely brutalist details very typical for Holm Sørensen. Acid treatment of the copper edges. The lamp gives fantastic slightly red light and has long, original chain with ceiling mount that can be adjusted to the desirable hight (max 130 cm). Beautiful copper nyances. Warm and calming light. Measures: 20 cmH x 42 cmD. Adjustable height on a chain.

About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
