For sale is a set of completely restored Bauhaus cantilever chairs in mint condition. ATTENTION! OBJECT: 4x cantilever chairs / armchairs, lounge chair Finish: Leather STYLE: Bauhaus / Mid - Century Modern DESCRIPTION: High-gloss chrome-plated all-round tubular steel frame with curved and rounded armrests in a quarter circle; fitted seat module with belt covering and upholstery; classic patchwork leather cover with topstitching on all sides and stretch fabric on the underside MANUFACTURER / DESIGNER: presumably de Sede for WK Wohnen MATERIAL: - naturally grained cowhide nappa leather, originally grown, unique in the pattern of pores, grain and surface structure, dyed through in the aniline barrel, lightly pigmented, hard-wearing and yet soft and supple. - High-gloss chrome-plated steel - Lacquered beech COLOR: deep black Info: The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss. DIMENSIONS: approx. width: 60cm; depth: 70cm; height: 80cm; seat height: 45cm; seat depth: 50cm CONDITION: The cantilever chairs are technically and visually in an impeccable and unique condition. They come from the conference room (with carpeting, therefore also in top condition on the underside) of a renowned Essen lawyer in combination with USM Haller furniture. The high-quality aniline-dyed leather is like new! It has been regenerated, recolored, sealed and newly treated by a leather technician, as it has lost some of its color intensity over the years. The leather has no stains, scratches, tears or holes, is completely odorless and has a lovely soft feel. The upholstery is also like new, beautifully firm and voluminous. The armrests have been lightly sanded and repainted in the original shade. Roughly described, the difference to a new chair is actually only very slight streaks on the chrome (from putting the feet down), which you can't even feel with your fingernail. Please don't compare it with the dents and deep scratches of frequently used office chairs. Here, too, it would be extremely difficult to "top" the condition. This set is just right for the Bauhaus design lover who is looking for very comfortable furniture with a history in top condition and does not want to make any unpleasant compromises when it comes to condition.
