It was made in Germany in the 1970s using a high quality macramé weaving technique.This high quality rug was designed in the 1970s by Ewald Kröner and manufactured by his own Label Schloss Hackhausen near Düsseldorf, Germany. It is made of wool and is still in good original condition with a fantastic patina in different shades of blue, purple etc. and on top several knotted elements. This fantastic and super rare rug has Kröner's signature directly on the back.An interesting piece for any modern home in beautiful vintage condition.
