About this vintage design furniture
First edition Coen de Vries colored Coatrack from the early 50,s created for Devo, in a very nice condition. The metal, plastic coated coatrack has metal wire hooks and also 3 original cloth hangers. On top a perforated shelve to put your hat. These full colour early editions are very rare The later editions are mostly in black metal with colored hooks. Very rare to find.

About the designer
Coen DE VRIES
Coen de Vries was a Dutch industrial designer, born in 1918 and died in 2004. He studied at the Amsterdam School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including Gispen, Spectrum and Pilastro.
