Very beautiful armchair with hollowed armrests and curved back covered by Svend Age Eriksen, a little known designer and sometimes confused with Grete Jalk or Arne Vodder. Model GM5 for Glostrup Møbelfabrik. Listed at the Denmark Design Museum. Completely reupholstered in two-tone Kvadrat fabric, Tonica collection. Teak (Bangkok)

About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
