About this vintage design furniture
These chairs were designed by Roland Rainer in 1951 and used at the Vienna City Hall. One of the most famous Austrian Midcentury design icons. They feature a black lacquered beechwood base and a bright plywood seat, all in very good vintage cindition, one with a slight scratch on the seat , pls have a look at the photos. Each one has a small storage shelf under the seat.

About the designer
Roland RAINER
Roland Rainer was an Austrian architect and designer who was born in 1910 and died in 2004. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began his career working for the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister.
