About this vintage design furniture

Elegant solid Pine bench designed by Yngve Ekström for Swedese. It has been produced in the late 1960s. The bench will be taken apart when shipped. It takes about 10 minutes to put it back together again. It will be shipped in a custom made wooden crate. Yngve Ekström is a Swedish furniture designer, wood carver and architect. From early childhood on Ekström worked in a sawmill and studied drawing, painting, music and art history. The autodidact continued by founding the company Swedese with his brother Jerker, followed by an exhibition of his furniture at Nordiska Kompaniet and his breakthrough with the chair Lamino in 1956.
