Siesta Medizinal lounge chair from Thonet, 1950s. Designed by Hans Luckhardt in collaboration with Anton Lorenz from 1936 onwards, the technical realisation did not take place until after the end of the Second World War.

About the designer
Anton Lorenz
Anton Lorenz (1892-1964) was a Hungarian designer who worked in the fields of interior architecture, furniture and mass production. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna and worked for architects such as Adolf Loos before founding his own company in 1920.
