Ubald Klug for De Sede, DS1025 ’Terrazza’ landscape element, in brown high quality leather, by Switzerland, 1970s. This sectional sofa is in excellent condition and has the most beautiful patina. It’s extremely rare to find them like this. This cascading sofa is designed by the Swiss manufacturer De Sede. The design for this sofa was inspired by natural phenomena such as rock formations or waves. De Sede once started as a saddler’s workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed itself to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed with the main focus on the people who own and use them. Therefore, all the De Sede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.

Ubald Klug was an Austrian industrial designer, born on October 10, 1933 in Vienna and died on May 8, 2017. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he was trained in sculpture and industrial design.
