About this vintage design furniture
Bowl designed by Swedish designer Mari Simmulson and produced by Upsala Ekeby in the 1960s in Sweden. The bowl is made of stoneware with ceramic glazing in different tones of white and features an incised graphic pattern.

About the designer
Mari SIMMULSON
Marie Simmulson was a Swedish designer born in 1911 in St Petersburg, Russia. She moved to Sweden in 1915 with her family, where she studied at the Göteborg School of Decorative Arts. She went on to study at the Konstfack School of Art in Stockholm, graduating in 1936.
